Final Exam

4. This photo of Deborah is my decisive photo. Through the course of this year, this photo opened me up to the photography world. Instead of just a photo that uses the rule of thirds, its a photo that has great lighting, color contrasts, and simplicity. The light is bright but doesn't turn her face white, and the flowers add a pop of color and excitement to the photo.

5. The Difference between shape and form is that shapes are composed of closed lines. They are flat  and can be squares or circles etc. Forms are the exact opposite, they are 3D and show width, length, and depth. For example, a cube or pyramid.

6. The difference between patterns and repetitions are that patterns are symbols being repeated all over the artwork. Repetition however, works with patterns to make the artwork stand out and seem active.

7.

This photo defines movement because it captures the viewers eyes starting with the person on the left side pushing the guy standing second to the left which ultimately leads to a domino affect dragging your eyes from left to right.

I believe that this was my best work because it really gave me a chance to go out side the boundaries with editing. I was able to be in control of the colors, size and shape of the subject. It also made me think differently as a photographer by forcing me to ask myself " would this picture sell the product?"I knew this assignment was different than the others because we had to persuade the viewers into loving our photo or "product" which made me have to ask for outside opinion and my own research.

Final Project

This past weekend there was a food truck festival in Milpitas. I have tried to capture the food in angles that show the delicacy and deliciousness of the food.

Student Weebly Review

Period 2
http://inspirephotographs.weebly.com/

The bowl of soup is the best photo because it uses depth of field, while eliminating and simplifying therefore capturing the soup in a elegant and delicate picture.

Period 3

The best shot in Anitas gallery was her shot of the pistachio nuts. The picture has an ongoing pattern of green and tan and focuses on every nut very well.

Period 4

The best shot in this photo was the shot of the lego pieces. The colors are so vibrant and it makes the picture stand out.

Presentation Project: Fridge

The objective of this project was to capture the eeriness of a " midnight snack". I had to wait till night time to capture these images because I wanted the fridge to be the only thing lighting the darkness. Weebly gallery can be found here.
